AN ODE TO COLORS AND SHAPES
In the vibrant heart of London, beneath the chimes of Big Ben's bells, there is a workshop where emotional narratives are woven through bold strokes and a chromatic palette that evokes feelings. This is the creative sanctuary of artist and designer Sarah Boris.
Captivated by textures, her passion for literature, and the expression of colors, she has embraced a style merging pop art and poetry. Sarah channels her creativity through sculptures, paintings, screen-printed editions, books, carpets, and more. The Design Museum in London opened its doors to Sarah Boris in a unique exhibition, and institutions like the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, the New York Centre of Book Arts, and FRAC Normandie Rouen have sought to permanently preserve her work, including "Le Théâtre Graphique" (The Graphic Theater), a wordless book where the sea morphs into a stage curtain.
Then came her "Hearts Bench" series in Saumur. In the charming French city, Sarah merged art and architecture, embarking on a chapter in her career focused on public artworks. Shapes and hearts intertwined on benches that are not just seats but also testaments to love and human connection.
