Carl Addy is the visionary creative director and founder of Mayda, a creative community that connects advertising, technology, film, and gaming, pushing the boundaries of the industry. Passionate about blending design, digital media, and immersive VR technology, Carl creates experiences that merge playful creativity with cutting-edge concepts, seamlessly moving between live action and animation. His unique approach, innovation in storytelling, love for music, and deep understanding of digital trends and filmmaking are evident in his work for clients such as Asap Rocky, Puma, Playstation, EA, The British Film Institute, The Guardian, and Nike.
With an award-winning career in advertising, design, and direction, Carl has been a speaker at creative festivals around the world, including SXSW, Cannes Lions, and OFFF. Often, his talks focus on the future of creativity and how to overcome its challenges through storytelling, design, and innovation. Additionally, under his leadership Mayda was recently ranked #4 on the 2024 AdAge Production Company A-List.
