Ladies, Wine & Design Andalucía

With the collaboration of Cultura Inquieta

When the artist and designer Jessica Walsh founded this non-profit initiative in 2015, she probably never imagined that in OFFF Sevilla several women from the Andalusian, national, and international art scene would follow in her footsteps.

Ladies, Wine & Design has already made its mark in more than 280 cities around the world, and in 2024, it will once again join forces with OFFF Sevilla and the rich cultural and social tradition of this region and Spain. We will toast and drink from glasses filled with experiences and anecdotes of Melon Blanc (Seville) and Hermanas Pacheco (Almería), in an event curated by the Huelva-based designer Granada Barrero.

Ladies Wine Design OFFF Sevilla 2024

Gran Reserva: A Gathering with Legacy

Since its debut in 2021, Ladies, Wine & Design Andalucía has been an indispensable beacon of inspiration at OFFF Sevilla. This event has shone a light on young talents who are shaping the future of design in our region, artists such as the Sevillian Ana Jarén, the Malagueña Paloma Graglia, and the Jerezana María Melero, as well as women whose names are etched in the history of National Design, like Silvia Fernández Palomar and Marisa Gallén, two of the few women who have won the Spanish National Design Award.

Denomination of Origin: Almería and Seville

This edition will feature Laura and Carmen Pacheco (Hermanas Pacheco) from an emerging cultural hotspot: Almería, as well as the brilliant minds of Isa Macías and Mina Barrio from the Seville-based studio Melon Blanc. These creatives bring an impressive trajectory marked by a fresh and innovative perspective. Together, these talented women blur boundaries, weaving bridges between cultures, generations, and styles. They demonstrate that the epicenter is not as central and the periphery not as peripheral, highlighting the talent of the South in dialogue with other territories.
