Dr. Woohoo! (Drew Trujillo) is a hybrid artist, digital creator and educator based in Albuquerque (New Mexico), who explores the connections between CNC machines, 3D printing, robots, art and design.
Drew Trujillo is a self-taught creative and has worked for Adobe, Photoshop, Illustrator and Meow Wolf on the architecture of their plug-ins. As a simple rule, he chooses to integrate innovative new features rather than duplicate functionality that already exist in the creative applications that he uses.
His inspiration comes from a wide variety of artists and references such as Emily Noyes Vanderpoel, Georgia O’Keeffe’s use of colour, Vera Molnár, or Craig Reynolds’s.
He has developed projects for
Adidas, Adobe, Camelbak, Verizon, Southwest Airlines, Taylormade-Adidas Golf, Nike, FedEx, and Toyota.
