With an unmistakably intuitive visual style, Alex Trochut has become one of the key names in design, illustration and typography today. He has achieved recognition from the Art Directors Club –including being named a 2008 Young Gun–, Type Directors Club, Creative Review, and has won several Cannes Lions.
Mixing styles and genres and drawing equally from pop culture, street culture, fashion and music, this Barcelona-born artist now living and working in New York focuses on the potential of language as a visual medium to achieve the unification of text and image with his projects.
From his studio in Brooklyn, Alex has created designs for iconic artists such as The Rolling Stones and Katy Perry, and his client list includes big names such as Nike, Adidas, BBC, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, and prestigious publications such as The Guardian, The New York Times and Time Magazine.
