Elena Rocabert’s practice lies at the intersection of art and architecture, where experimentation with materials becomes a tool for imagining new networks of relationships between bodies, matter, and territory. Through sculptures and spatial interventions, Elena explores cycles of transformation, rebirth, and decay, as well as the constant tension between destruction and creation.
An architect with degrees from ETSAM and the Technische Universität Berlin, she was part of the curatorial team at Medialab Matadero Madrid from 2021 to 2024. She has participated in the Organismo program as part of TBA21-Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary and the Altamira Museum, and has exhibited at the Klima Biennale Wien, Funkhaus Vienna, Teatros del Canal, Madrid Design Festival, the Mayrit Biennial, and the Community of Madrid’s
