From Spain With Design is a project by the Spanish Network of Design Associations (READ), collaboratively conceived during the National Design Meetings as a tool to promote Spanish design at both national and international levels.
Its objectives include fostering creativity and design as drivers of development, strengthening national and international communication around Spanish design, unifying the professional community, and offering an updated snapshot of the sector. In doing so, the project aims to increase the visibility of Spanish design and help enhance the “Spain Brand.”
Throughout 2025 and in the lead-up to 2026, FSWD is driving new promotional initiatives: exhibitions, publications, and international collaborations that are helping to build a solid support network for the design sector and its professionals.

FEEDING CREATIVITY: THE FOOD DESIGN STUDIO
Papila is a design studio specialized in the food sector whose job consists in investigating, designing and innovating with all the elements related to the eating experience.
Founded in 2009 by Alberto Arza, its projects are developed in the field of product design, graphic design, ephemeral spaces and what is known as ‘food design’ or design of new food concepts (a new discipline in which food is approached as another material to be designed and with an approach totally unrelated to traditional gastronomy).
He has worked with companies and institutions such as Habitat Valencia, Lékué, Chocovic, Bustper, CS Ruta de Sabor, Cal Paradís, Alfa Romeo, Barcelona Design Week, Miele, Turisme Comunitat Valenciana, Madrid Design Festival, Mandarin Oriental, Helados Alacant, Lidl,... among others.
