From Spain With Design is an initiative created to promote creativity and design as drivers of economic and social development. Showcasing Spanish design on an international scale—highlighting its professionals and defining its identity—is the core goal of From Spain with Design (FSWD), which, in collaboration with READ (the Spanish Network of Design Associations), will be landing this year at Offf Sevilla.

Recognized with the AD Creators Award (2024), an honorable mention at the COAM Awards (2025), and as a finalist for the Casa de la Arquitectura Awards 2026, Elena Rocabert has established herself as one of the most exciting emerging voices in today's spatial and sculptural scene. Her career has led her to exhibit at internationally renowned venues and events such as the Klima Biennale Wien and Funkhaus in Vienna, as well as key institutions and festivals including Teatros del Canal, Madrid Design Festival, the Mayrit Biennial, and Sala de Arte Joven de la Comunidad de Madrid. Her background is further backed by her time on the curatorial team at Medialab Matadero and her participation in the Organismo program by TBA21 Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary alongside the Altamira Museum.
Elena’s practice inhabits the porous boundary where architecture ceases to be a mere rigid structure and becomes living matter, body, and territory. Her research keenly focuses on the fertile friction between destruction and genesis: investigating what happens when materials wear down, fracture, re-emerge, or mutate until shedding their original function. Through immersive installations and intensely tactile sculptures, she transforms space into a sensory experience that directly engages the viewer.

Trained at IED Madrid and at the avant-garde epicenter of Design Academy Eindhoven, Joel Blanco's work has earned a prominent place on international platforms such as the MAYRIT Biennial, driven by a perspective that is as biting as it is lucid. With groundbreaking projects like Messless or Tecno-Trash, he has established himself as one of the most distinctive, reflective, and iconoclastic voices on today's creative scene—using the object not as a functional end, but as a critical artifact capable of shaking certainty around consumerism, pop culture, and obsolescence.
Wryly describing himself as an "inactive member of the Pokémon generation and an expert in junk food," Blanco moves seamlessly between conceptual design, creative direction, curating, and strategic consulting. His creative universe draws directly from his beginnings in cinematic storytelling, a heritage evident in the strong narrative weight of his installations and his approach to physical material. For him, design is not about manufacturing useful things to fill shelves, but about crafting uncomfortable questions that confront viewers with the delusions of the digital age.
From speculative furniture pieces to investigations into technological waste and modern archaeology, his practice blows the boundaries of traditional industrial design wide open.
